The San Marino Grand Prix is ready to host the 16th round of the year after a thrilling weekend in Barcelona, where Marc M\u00e1rquez lost his perfect streak to his brother \u00c1lex M\u00e1rquez, who came out on top in Sunday\u2019s race at Montmel\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marc M\u00e1rquez now arrives at one of his favorite tracks. The eight-time world champion knows what it takes to win at the <em>Misano Marco Simoncelli<\/em> circuit, having done so on eight occasions, most recently in 2024. Despite securing his eighth consecutive sprint victory, he will be determined to return to the top step of the podium in the long races, after \u00c1lex M\u00e1rquez celebrated his second Sunday triumph of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MotoGP World Championship 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marc\u2019s win at home on Saturday was not enough to extend his lead comfortably in the championship. The M\u00e1rquez brothers are now separated by 182 points in the standings. Meanwhile, Pecco Bagnaia endured one of his toughest weekends of the season.
