On a special Sunday for Fabio Di Giannantonio, marking his 200th Grand Prix in the World Championship, the Romagna track became conquered territory for the Furia Roja<\/em>, delivering one of the most volatile and thrilling title battles in recent memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race got underway with a lightning start from Marco Bezzecchi, who managed to hold off Marc Marquez\u2014unlike in yesterday\u2019s Sprint. However, the Italian\u2019s spell at the front was short-lived: his Aprilia lost stability, forcing Bezzecchi wide before sliding out, leaving the track clear for the Marquez-Martin duo. That triggered a race of attrition, with Miller and Moreira also ending up in the gravel, alongside a bitter Pecco Bagnaia, who crashed out on lap six to seal another zero in a grim Sunday for the Italian contingent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind race leader Marc Marquez, the battle ignited with a spectacular duel between Alex Marquez and Pedro Acosta. Following a flurry of overtakes and counter-attacks, the younger Marquez brother asserted his pace\u2014setting back-to-back fastest laps to claim second position. Mid-race, Jorge Martin took center stage: the Spaniard launched a move on Marc Marquez, seized the lead, and tried to break away. But the eight-time World Champion responded instantly: managing his tires masterfully, Marc retook the lead and capitalized on the tussle behind him to pull clear. Martin, struggling severely with rear grip on his Aprilia, suddenly faded\u2014yielded places to Alex Marquez, a relentless Acosta, and finally Aldeguer\u2019s Ducati, dropping all the way to fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further back, Di Giannantonio celebrated his career milestone with a strong recovery ride, snatching seventh place from a solid Luca Marini. Out front, however, it was total euphoria for the Marquez family, as Marc crossed the line first ahead of brother Alex to ignite celebrations in the pit box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This victory completely resets the championship standings: Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin now share the lead of the World Championship dead-locked on points, while Bezzecchi slips 33 points adrift.
