Marco Bezzecchi steals the spotlight in qualifying for the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix with a record-breaking lap. The VR46 rider sets the fastest time in 1:29.982<\/strong>, breaking the 1:30 barrier and putting everyone behind him at the end of a fiercely contested Q2 that went down to the final minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fernandez and Aldeguer secure their places in Q2, with the latter making a decisive pass on Quartararo. It is a day to forget for Pecco Bagnaia, who runs wide at the Carro and fails to find the pace needed to climb the standings. The Italian champion records his worst qualifying result at Misano since entering MotoGP<\/strong> and will have to start from 14th position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2 begins with Bezzecchi among the main favourites, following the strong pace he showed yesterday, when he came close to breaking the lap record held by Bagnaia. However, the VR46 rider initially struggles to find the ideal position to push to the maximum, especially compared with the two Marquez brothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Marquez immediately finds himself in trouble: his first lap is cancelled and shortly afterwards he crashes at the Quercia. Meanwhile, Franco Morbidelli puts together an excellent lap to briefly move to the top of the standings. Marc Marquez responds, however, and provisionally takes the fastest time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The turning point comes with Bezzecchi. The Italian produces a sensational lap to set a new track record of 1:29.982<\/strong>, moving ahead of Di Giannantonio. His advantage over his VR46 teammate is around four tenths \u2014 a significant margin considering the level of competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc Marquez refuses to settle and heads back out, determined to avoid starting from third place. Aldeguer also launches his attack, looking to secure a place on the second row, initially moving up to fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aldeguer then produces a stunning lap to jump all the way up to second place<\/strong>, ahead of Di Giannantonio, while Marc Marquez provisionally sits fourth. Alex Marquez, meanwhile, suffers another crash and has to settle for eighth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final minute, Marc Marquez delivers another response, moving up to second place<\/strong>, while Aldeguer drops to third. Di Giannantonio and Marini complete the second row, with Marini securing an excellent result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But at the front, there is still one man to beat: Bezzecchi<\/strong>. The Italian takes pole position and sets the stage perfectly for what promises to be one of the most intriguing battles of the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After qualifying, Bezzecchi thanks his team and says he enjoyed himself on track, while remaining fully focused on this afternoon\u2019s Sprint and tomorrow\u2019s race. The feeling with the bike is positive, although there are still some technical aspects to improve in certain sections of the circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pain in his knee is still there, but Bezzecchi makes no excuses and is determined to make the most of what he has. He knows a fierce battle with Marc Marquez awaits and is preparing for a hard-fought Sprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A phrase on his helmet perfectly sums up his attitude: \u201cI won\u2019t let go.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
