When the lights went out, the Marquez brothers made an excellent start, while Raul Fernandez helped his Trackhouse Racing teammate Ai Ogura move into third place. Fabio Di Giannantonio immediately settled in behind the leading trio, staying within striking distance of the two Aprilia riders. By the end of the opening lap, Fernandez reclaimed third place from the Japanese rookie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Behind the leaders, championship frontrunner Jorge Martin ran ahead of Di Giannantonio, Francesco Bagnaia and Pedro Acosta, with both Bagnaia and Acosta overtaking Fabio Quartararo in the early stages. On lap two, Di Giannantonio began applying pressure to Ogura, while Acosta launched an aggressive attack on Martin. During the third lap, Alex Marquez set the fastest lap of the race, preventing his brother Marc from immediately pulling away from the chasing pack. Fernandez responded on lap thirteen but soon found himself under increasing pressure from Ogura. Behind them, Pedro Acosta, who had undergone carpal tunnel surgery just a week earlier, continued to impress by matching Marc Marquez’s lap times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By the halfway point of the race, Marc Marquez had extended his advantage to almost two seconds over Fernandez. Ogura initially struggled to close the gap but gradually reeled him in with remarkable determination. At several points, the two Trackhouse Aprilias were lapping around a tenth of a second faster than the race leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With five laps remaining, the battle for second place reached its decisive moment as Ogura overtook Fernandez before quickly pulling away to build a gap of one and a half seconds. Meanwhile, Bagnaia launched several attacks on Martin, drawing alongside him under braking, but the championship leader successfully defended fifth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the closing laps, Marc Marquez comfortably managed his advantage to secure another unforgettable victory at the Sachsenring. Behind him, Ai Ogura produced one of the finest performances of his MotoGP career to finish second, while Raul Fernandez completed an outstanding double podium for Trackhouse Racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
