The Spaniard launched off the line brilliantly and emerged ahead into the opening corners, but Bulega wasted little time in responding.

By the second lap, the championship leader had reclaimed first place and immediately began to pull away from the chasing pack. Showing the pace that has made him the benchmark of the 2026 campaign, Bulega steadily built a comfortable advantage while maintaining complete control of the race.

As the laps ticked by, the Aruba.it Ducati rider looked untouchable. His relentless consistency and flawless execution left his rivals with no answer, allowing him to cross the finish line more than five seconds clear of the field and secure another crucial victory in his title charge.

Behind him, Lecuona delivered a strong performance to complete a Ducati one-two finish. The Spaniard was unable to match Bulega’s pace after losing the lead but comfortably held on to second place, collecting valuable championship points.

The battle for the final podium position went the way of Yari Montella, who produced an impressive ride to secure third place and cap off an outstanding day for the Italian riders at Misano. Montella’s consistency and race management allowed him to fend off the competition and claim a deserved spot on the rostrum.

For Bulega, the victory carried special significance. Winning at Misano, one of the most important events on the WorldSBK calendar and in front of thousands of Italian fans, represented another milestone in what is rapidly becoming a remarkable season.

Having already dominated practice sessions and qualifying throughout the weekend, the championship leader once again demonstrated why he remains the man to beat in 2026. His pace, confidence and ability to manage races continue to set him apart from the rest of the grid.

With Race 1 now in the books, Bulega heads into the remainder of the Misano weekend as the overwhelming favourite. If Saturday’s performance is any indication, his rivals may once again be left fighting for the positions behind him as the Italian star continues his march toward WorldSBK glory.

MISANO ADRIATICO – Nicolò Bulega delivered a masterclass in front of his home fans, claiming his first-ever WorldSBK victory at Misano and further strengthening his grip on the 2026 championship with a commanding performance in Race 1.
